Transferring images between DICOM modalities via network has become commonplace. To accomplish these image transfers, network integration services are required. NIS has developed an expertise in integrating modalities, workstations, and printers onto imaging department networks. By integrating these systems, our customers:
- Instantly transfer images acquired from CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, etc. to a DICOM workstation or PACS system.
- Print images from any workstation or modality to any remote printer.
- Automatically update modalities with patient data (name, patient ID, etc.) from the DICOM Worklist prior to an exam. This feature saves the technologist prep time and eliminates typographical errors caused by multiple data entry.
