NIS buys, refurbishes, and sells all models of the General Electric CT line. We focus our sales efforts on ENT Clinics, Urology Centers, Hospitals, Veterinary Hospitals, and Diagnostic Imaging Centers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. Our goal is to make the purchase and startup of your CT equipment as seamless and efficient as possible. In order to meet this goal and to provide true CT solutions, we offer the following options with every CT scanner we sell:
- Room Planning
Allow NIS to layout the equipment in your CT room using CAD drawings. NIS will work with your architect and contractors (HVAC, Electrical, General, etc.) to give them the information that they need to prepare a room for your new CT scanner.
- Removal of Existing CT Systems
If you are upgrading an existing scanner, NIS will remove and ship that system. Additionally, NIS offers trade-in value for most GE CT scanners.
- Equipment Installation
Our professional installation team will deliver and install your CT scanner.
- On-site Applications Training
NIS will send an applications specialist to your location to train your medical staff on the new piece of equipment.
- 12-month Full Parts and Labor Warranty Service
See our CT Service page for details on our warranty service.
- X-ray Tube Coverage
NIS will warranty your X-ray tube to protect you from unbudgeted expenses.

NIS’ REFURBISHMENT PROCESS
"Refurbished" means different things to different companies.
When our customers buy a "refurbished" CT scanner from NIS,
we strive to give them a "like new" system. In order to accomplish this,
we complete the following tasks:
- The system covers are removed, repaired, and painted
- All wearable mechanical components are inspected and replaced if necessary.
- The system is staged (cabled and powered up).
- A 1-year Preventative Maintenance (PM) task is completed to ensure that all adjustments and calibrations meet OEM specifications.
- The system is tested thoroughly to simulate typical scanning in a diagnostic imaging environment.
- A complete set of QA scans is taken and the images saved on the hard drive.
- The system is packaged for delivery to the customer.
By completing these tasks prior to shipping, the reliability of the system is significantly improved. As a result, our customers are able to start their CT business on schedule and with confidence.
